This is the fourth book in the Catalina Cove series, which takes place in a small seaside town. Brenda Jackson is an excellent storyteller who brought Catalina Cove to life where you felt that push or drive to go to this imaginary town yourself. The main characters were Roman and Victoria; they, Tanner, and Lyric, the secondary characters, were full of passion, love, and desire. I really enjoyed reading Roman and Victoria's story the most because they had a relationship that was built on a foundation. I was not really a fan of Tanner from the very beginning. I wish the story would have showed an interaction with the other Catalina Cove cast more than it did, but it was fine since Brenda Jackson wrote about the Madaris' past family members. Moreover, I am wondering how many stories will be written from the Catalina Cove setting, because what else can be written about this beautiful town unless you branch out the town plot? Great book!!!
